At the age of 15 I started working for my dad, Diamond Dave. He owned Schepers Jewelers that was located in St. Cloud Mn and it was started by his dad Emmett β€œRed” Schepers in 1950. I started by doing the usual 15 year old jobs of cleaning counters, vacuuming, and garbage; but I also developed a love for jewelry and especially designing. Throughout the years I soaked up everything I could about designing and repairing jewelry. I graduated from SCSU with a major in communications, and a minor in management and science. After college I also took the diamond essential and colored gemstone essential classes through GIA. The most important lessons I learned were from my dad who taught me the importance of creating a relationship with each customer. I loved the relationships that were created throughout the years in the family business. After 15 years of working with my dad he passed away suddenly. I had the privilege of running the business for a few years. During that time I became pregnant with our third child and we decided to close the business so that I could have more time with the kids. It was not an easy decision, but one that was best for our family at the time. Now 3 years later, and another baby later, I am itching to design jewelry again! I decided to focus on appointment based for two reasons; one to be able to focus completely on one customer at a time when meeting and the second is to have the flexibility to be with our family. This allows me to do what I love and still have time for the ones I love. I look forward to meeting with you and creating the jewelry you will adore for years to come.

A little more about me. My husband James and I have three spunky boys and a sweet baby girl. We moved to Becker over 9 years ago to be closer to the cities where my husband commutes to. Our oldest is in archery and baseball and our second child is in hockey and baseball. Between activities and everyday life, they keep us hopping!

A month after my father passed away the St. Cloud Times was creating a new yearly magazine for women in business and I had the honor of being asked to be in it.
